Our Mission

The Foundation exists to deliver practical community benefit through sport, education, outreach, wellbeing support, safeguarding-led youth activity and partnership work with local organisations.

Community First

Ipswich Town Foundation supports people and communities through programmes that encourage participation, confidence, resilience and opportunity.

Our work is designed around local need, responsible delivery and measurable benefit for participants, families and community partners.

Opportunity Through Sport

Football and physical activity can be powerful tools for learning, engagement and inclusion. The Foundation uses sport to help people build skills, improve wellbeing and connect with their community.

Delivery is supported by structured programme planning, trained staff, safeguarding practice and partnership oversight.

Safeguarding & Welfare

Safeguarding is central to the Foundation’s work. Activities involving children, young people or vulnerable adults should be delivered with appropriate supervision, safer recruitment, clear reporting routes, risk assessment and welfare-led practice.

Anyone with a safeguarding concern should contact the Foundation office or, where there is immediate risk of harm, contact the relevant emergency or statutory safeguarding authority.

Foundation activity is guided by appropriate oversight, responsible decision-making, financial controls, risk management and public-benefit purpose.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Programmes should be accessible, respectful and inclusive, with reasonable steps taken to reduce barriers to participation.

Privacy & Data Protection

Personal information submitted through enquiries, programmes or partnership activity should be handled lawfully, securely and only for appropriate purposes.

Complaints

Feedback and complaints may be submitted to the Foundation office. Concerns should be reviewed fairly, promptly and with suitable records maintained.
